Vitro Architectural Glass was formed from two globally proven legacies in commercial glass manufacturing: PPG and Vitro. It all started in 1883, when Captain John Baptiste Ford and John Pitcairn, Jr. founded Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. Soon after, Roberto Sada Muguerza founded Vitro Glass in 1909. In 2016, the industry mantel that PPG carried in the US was passed to Vitro, establishing it as the largest glass manufacturer in North America.

The Manager EHS is the technical expert and primary resource for environmental, safety, and health for the Berea KY site and key member of the EHS function for Vitro Automotive to positively impact business practices, behaviors, culture, results, and costs.
This position is responsible for providing basic technological and engineering support to the plant’s facilities, equipment, production processes and products to ensure reliability and optimum use of resources. The incumbent also provides continuous improvements in the areas of safety, quality and value.
