This position will see up to 90% local travel with home base in our Barrie, ON office and will work closely with Vitro's internal and external customers, handling quotations, lead follow-up calls, communicating with existing customers and prospective customers, understanding their needs to build rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.

Territory covered includes Mississauga West - Niagara Peninsula - Windsor. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer quotations.
  • Set pricing levels for customers (in conjunction with the Branch Manager.)
  • Visit current customers and prospective customers at their locations or on jobsites when required.
  • Answer customer questions, provide additional information as required.
  • Customer communications through outbound calls to potential and existing customers, follow up on leads as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to update customers on expected product deliveries and relay customer expectations.
  • Work with colleagues to resolve customer complaints.
  • Learn all aspects of the company software systems to communicate efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with a sales service background;  experience in a glass environment is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is mandatory; must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on the use of MS Office products.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with a fluid business environment.
